Appointed to reconstruct the studio of Frederick Edward McWilliam, a Banbridge–born foremost sculptor of the 20th century, Kennedy FitzGerald extensively refurbished and extended the existing tourist information centre to provide additional accommodation including an art gallery, artist’s studio, sculpture garden, café and craft shop.

“The project has been extremely successful, providing Banbridge with a superb gallery space that has been finished to International standards. The building has already received numerous accolades which can only be attributed to the imagination, assiduousness and tenacity of the design team led by the architect” (Banbridge District Council).

Given the success of the building Kennedy FitzGerald are currently working on proposals to double the size of the complex for Banbridge District Council.
