92-96 Lisburn Road is currently a vacant building owned by Queen’s University Belfast. The building’s previous use was for temporary Student’s Union space. QUB are proposing to refurbish the interior space, and use the building as a gaming centre for both the university societies and members of the public. At its busiest the space will hold gaming events and display competitions on large AV screens for spectators to watch.

The space will retain the existing bar and kitchen space to provide food and non-alcoholic drinks to customers. A variety of fixed and loose furniture will be located on the ground floor as a seating area for those ordering food and drinks. The mezzanine level, previously a pool table area, has been repurposed as a state of the art VR gaming space.

A new staircase provides access to the new Electro Lounge/ Esports area on the first floor.
