The proposed development of the former hotel, which was converted to offices and apartments by Helm Housing, involved major extension and refurbishment works to the Russell Court Complex and provides a new presence along the Lisburn Road. The additional 1000msq to their existing building includes office accommodation, a new entrance foyer and conference facilities.

The double height entrance foyer and reception includes an internal access stair to serve all three floors of office accommodation and is accessed from a new pedestrian bridge from the car park.  The polished granite plinth, ramp and steps provide an external link between the new entrance foyer and the conference facilities.

The prominent curved profile of the original hotel ballroom was rebuilt to provide new conference facilities and meeting rooms. The refurbishment works included a new curtain walling system and state of the art AV and IT conferencing installations.
